Joy Is a Choice

Suitcases packed. Reservations made. One thing missing: you.

In just a few days, we board a plane to Paris. PARIS!! I still get giddy every time.

An absolutely wonderful group of women ready for six beautiful days together. We'll wander cobblestone streets, linger over long dinners, visit flea markets, watch the Eiffel Tower sparkle at night, and soak up the particular magic that only Paris seems to deliver.

Not rushed. Not touristy. Just thoughtful, beautiful travel with a group of curious, joyful women who want to experience the city well — and by well, I mean they get to enjoy it rather than project manage it.

So if you're reading this thinking… "That sounds amazing. I wish I was going."

You can. And you should!

It's not often as women that we look up from ALL the things and people and projects and lives that we support and commit to something that is simply for US. Simply for joy. Simply for an afternoon without one thing to think about except where your feet might take you next inside the most beautiful city in the world.

It's both the most relaxing and the most thrilling week you've had in many a year.

This is my reminder that:

JOY IS A CHOICE.
MAKING LIFE-LONG QUALITY MEMORIES IS A CHOICE.
TAKING A TRIP FOR YOURSELF IS A FABULOUS CHOICE.
YOU JUST HAVE TO SAY YES.

Sorry for the capital screaming letters, but I'm afraid that we, as high-functioning and loving women, forget this once in a while. And it bears mentioning, because it's very easy to dress up putting your own needs behind everyone else's as dutiful responsibility.

Guess what? I promise this trip will revive them!

Because a trip to Paris should be on your itinerary, not just your bucket list. 🇫🇷
