She gets things done. And occasionally… her time away feels less like a vacation and more like a well-managed project with a nicer backdrop. She comes home accomplished. But not necessarily restored. Just an observation. 👀
😌 The Follower.
She wants zero decisions. Zero. Someone else has prepared and created it. She just needs to show up, look around, and let the day do what it wants. She is not lazy. She is not disinterested. She is depleted. There is a difference. She has been running on fumes for six months and what she needs — more than any destination or activity — is for someone else to hold the clipboard for a while. CAN I GET AN AMEN? This is a completely valid way to travel. Highly recommend it, actually. 🙌
🌊 The Beach Bum.
She has found a chair. She has found a drink. She is not moving. There is only this chair, this view, and the soothing awareness that the emails exist but cannot currently reach her. The emails will be there Monday. The chair will not. Please leave her be.
🏃♀️ The Feral One.
She cannot sleep. She is up at 6am. Not because she has to be — because the city is right there and she simply cannot waste a single minute of it. She will walk 14,000 steps before noon. Find the market no one told her about. Say yes to everything. By the end of the trip she is simultaneously exhausted and completely alive. She has no regrets. But she does have blisters. 🩹
