5 Things I Never Change About a Trip

I love to change little things about our trip itinerary for each group. Here are 5 things I refuse to alter.

One of the questions I get asked most often is: "How did you decide what to include?"

The answer is probably not what people expect. I didn't start with a spreadsheet. I started with a feeling. Specifically: How do I want women to FEEL while they're there?

1. SIZE MATTERS. That's why we keep the groups small. Could I fit more women? Probably. Do I want to? No. Small groups move differently. They connect faster. They laugh harder. They get the restaurant reservation. Under eight women changes everything, in the best way. It's intentional.

2. FLOW MATTERS. I've taken trips where every minute was scheduled. By day three, I felt like I needed another vacation. I've also taken trips where absolutely nothing was planned. By day two, everyone was standing around trying to decide where to go next. So I built the middle: one or two anchor events each day, then free time in the city. Some women want to shop. Some want museums. Some want cafés. Some want a nap. Some want all four. I believe you should have everything you want in Paris. 🇫🇷

3. HOTELS MATTER. I care about hotels more than is probably reasonable. The location matters. The neighborhood matters. The feeling matters. The wallpaper matters. 😎 Because where you stay influences everything. Can you walk out the front door and immediately feel like you're in Paris? Can you stumble into a beautiful café without trying? The answer must be yes. These decisions matter.

4. EVENTS MATTER. Some events are truly iconic — because if you're in Paris, certain things simply deserve their reputation. Others are things most visitors never discover on their own. I love that balance. The famous and the unexpected. The postcard and the surprise.

5. BEING WELL TAKEN CARE OF MATTERS. Here's what often gets forgotten in group travel: the emotional experience. I want women to feel welcomed — in fact, more than welcomed. Included. Relaxed. Supported. Never managed. Never rushed. Never pressured.

"I felt completely taken care of without feeling controlled. It felt like being in Paris with my bestie who happens to be a Paris expert."

The goal has never been to create the most impressive itinerary. The goal is to create the most enjoyable experience. You deserve a vacation that takes care of you, while enjoying the most beautiful city in the world.
